Privacy Policy

1. Information we handle

Playing Phoenix. You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number or address to play. The current version does not collect or transmit personal information, advertising identifiers, location, contacts or device usage reports to Solvado Labs.

Local game saves. Phoenix stores game progress and preferences on your device. This includes unlocked and completed levels, scores, earned diamonds, selected and unlocked appearances, language, sound preferences, tutorial status, endless-mode records and saved flight progress. These values are used to resume your game and remember your settings; they are not uploaded to our servers.

Messages you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to send. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed to answer your question.

2. Website and hosting

Our website does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts added by Solvado Labs. Opening an image gallery does not create an account or send gameplay information to us.

The hosting platform may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information and requested pages, to deliver the website, maintain security and prevent abuse. Where the website is hosted on Cloudflare, this processing is described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. When you visit a version hosted on ChatGPT Sites, platform access and account information are handled under OpenAI's Privacy Policy. Platform cookies or access controls may apply independently of our page content.

3. Third-party services and advertising

We do not plan to include advertising in our games. The current version of Phoenix does not contain advertising, AdMob, Firebase Analytics or other analytics or tracking SDKs. It does not use a remote account or online leaderboard.

If you download an app through Google Play, Google handles its own store and account services under Google's Privacy Policy. Distribution through Google Play does not mean that Phoenix sends its local game saves to Google or Solvado Labs.

Analytics may be added in a future version, but no analytics service is currently integrated into Phoenix. Before introducing analytics, cloud saves or other services that change how information is handled, we will update this policy or provide an app-specific policy to identify the service, the information processed and its purpose. We will also provide any notices or choices required by applicable law before the relevant processing begins.

4. How information is used and shared

• Local game data is used on your device to provide gameplay, save achievements and remember your preferences.
• Information in your emails is used to respond to questions, investigate reported problems and handle privacy requests.
• Website request information is processed for delivery and security by the hosting platform.

We do not sell your personal information or share Phoenix game saves with advertisers. Email and hosting providers process information as needed to provide their services. We may disclose information we hold if required by applicable law or a valid legal request.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website, where those interests are not overridden by your rights. We rely on legal obligations where processing is required by law. If a future feature requires consent, we will request it before the relevant processing begins.

5. Retention and deletion

Game saves: local progress remains on your device until you clear the app's storage or remove the app. On Android, you can delete it through your device's app settings using the option to clear storage or app data. For a browser version, clear site data for the game's address. This resets your saved progress and preferences. We cannot restore or delete these saves remotely because we do not receive them.

Correspondence: we retain emails only for as long as needed to resolve your request, keep necessary support records and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by emailing us. If we need to retain information for a legal reason, we will explain that when responding.

Hosting and platform providers retain the technical information they process under their own policies and applicable service arrangements.

6. Security and international processing

Keeping Phoenix game saves on your device limits the information sent outside the game. We take reasonable measures to protect correspondence we receive and restrict its use to the purposes described here. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Email and hosting providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where applicable data protection law requires safeguards for such transfers, the relevant provider's service arrangements and transfer safeguards apply. You can contact us for information about the providers used to handle your enquiry.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, restrict or object to processing, and receive a portable copy where applicable. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email solvado.labs@icloud.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your request and will respond within the time required by applicable law. For local Phoenix saves, use the deletion options in section 5; those saves are not held by us.

8. Children's privacy

The current Phoenix game does not request personal information through gameplay. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us at the email address below so we can review and delete it where required by applicable law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our games, apps and website change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where a change materially affects how personal information is handled, we will provide any additional notice and obtain consent where required.
